Hamburger with Iberico ham and Manchego Cheese

In this recipe, we are going to cook a simple recipe of Hamburger with Iberico ham and Manchego Cheese using two of the star products of Spanish gastronomy. It will add something different to your barbecue for a special party.

To prepare 4 hamburger with Iberico ham and Manchego Cheese

Ingredients for the hamburger with Iberico ham and Manchego Cheese

– 800 grams of mincemeat
– 2 garlic cloves cut thinly
– 100 grams of acorn Iberico ham in small pieces
– Salt and pepper
– 4 hamburger buns
– 12 thin slices of Manchego cheese D.O
– Some lettuce, and big gherkins
– 2 tomatoes

Step by Step

I – Cut the garlic cloves and Iberico ham in very small pieces

II – In a bowl, mix the mincemeat with the garlic and Iberico ham, add salt and pepper

III – Stir the mix and make four hamburgers of approximately 200 grams.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees

IV – In a frying pan fry the hamburgers until brown, approximately during 2 minutes each side

After this introduce the hamburgers in the oven for a further 6 minutes

V – Place the cheese slices on top of the hamburger and melt them in the oven another 5 minutes (depends how cook you like them)

VI – Prepare the hamburger buns adding the tomato, lettuce

VII – Add gherkins, hamburger and melted the cheese
